We are raw feeders.

There are different raw diets that a pet owner can feed their pets.

  1. BARF (bones and raw foods)- This diet is made up of muscle meats, raw meaty bones, veggies, fruits, dairy products and supplements.
  2. Prey-model- This diet micis what a carnivores would eat out in the wild. The prey-model diet is made up of raw meaty bones, muscle and organ meats. Some pet owners that are feeding this diet will add supplements.
  3. Premade Raw- These are raw diets that you can buy already prepared. They come in a number of varieties such as chicken, beef, pork lamb, rabbit, etc. Some have vegetables mixed in and some don't. Some have bones ground in with the meat, and some don't.

In 1993 it was stated in the Mammal Species of the World: A Taxonomic and Geographic Reference, edited by D.E. Wilson and D.A.M. Reeder. Published by the Smithsonian Institution in association with the American Society of Mammalogists, this reference book is the final authority of the scientific community on mammal classification. That dogs are now classified as Canis Lupus Familiaris. Why feed raw?
